As I was learning about Astronomy for long one year, I found out that humans can go to Mars after few years. Something that I was worrying about is that human bodies cannot endure long space trip. When I learned about the human trip in the space, the astronauts' bones get weaker and weaker as the trip gets longer and longer. The astronauts have to spend 150-300 days depending on the speed of launch. By the time the astronauts get to the Mars, their bones cannot endure.
According to the Russian news agency Ria Novosti, head of manned space missions at Roscosmos, Alexei Krasnov said that they have a plan of sending two astronauts - one American and one Russian - for an experimental endurance mission that sends the astronauts into the deep space. This experiment will help scientists to see how long trip in space will affect human body. Hopefully, by doing this experiment, scientists may find a way to make the astronauts' bones stronger and eventually get to the Mars without their bones getting hurt.
In June 2010, six volunteers representing Russia, Europe, and China participated in Mars500 mission, a simulation that aimed to recreate the isolations and mental stress of a trip to the Red Planet. They finished the mission on November 2011 after 520 days in the simulation area.
